My photo (2nd column, bottom; front of the exhibit area) got into the top 20 of the student category in UST Museum’s Digital Photography Competition and Exhibition. Two of my other photos are also selected for exhibition. Exhibit open every Tuesdays to Saturdays until March 6, 2010.
Other photos are copyright of their respective owners.
I’ve been practically taking photographs since I was a kid. I started out with a couple of point-and-shoot film cameras, moved onto digital compacts and mobile phone cameras, and now it’s been almost a year since I’m on a digital SLR along with a few months on a film one.
I just noticed a lot of fuss among people on the Internet as to whom the title of photographer may be used.
A man on a red bike, wearing a red jacket and a red helmet stopped in front of our front neighbors’ house. I knew then and there where his next stop will be. I didn’t look away. As he dropped off a package for our neighbor, I continued staring until…
He crossed the street and called out my name.
It’s here! It’s here!
I exclaimed. He handed me a sheet of processed film and a disc with scanned pictures on a package with my name written using my own handwriting. I’m happy. :D

We slow danced on the eve of her birthday. ♥
Special thanks to Tim for taking the photo, and Liyan for letting her use his D200.
